A good web design tool for a beginner? I am designing a webstore, would like a simple, professional tool.?

I am using the Yahoo! automated design tool currently, but it seems to limit design control (adding images, text, etc.). Easily adding new products is important to me.
I would try BlueVoda website builder. Somebody offered that to me before and I tried it. It’s good for beginners, but don’t totally depend on their accuracy. It’s just a good layout tool, I guess.
dreamweaver 8 is the best ever
Dreamweaver is a professional tool that is pretty much used by everyone in the industry. But wordpress might be another way to go. Dreamweaver is pretty pricey but wordpress is free.
Try using NVU – a free WYSIWYG html editor.
As stated the software is free, and can run on Linux/MAC/Windows OS’s.
I am also including another link to a different software package – again free – but I caution you that I have not tried this one. I am including it because it has the capability of working with php files while NVU does not.
Good luck,

Build a site with a real store front. You just have to add items to the product catalog and it creates the thumbnailed images along with all the proper “paging” code for your. Plus, it’s part of your site unlike some add-ons that are hosted elsewhere.

Most free webs limit design..
I would say check with your host sometimes they offer something like this but you have.
I use a host that offers a web developer and shopping carts.
