Anybody with a graphic design degree get any other jobs besides graphic design?

Like if I get a graphic design degree, I know alot of employers just want to know if you have a degree or not, so I really just want to get into graphic design and start my own business but I want to have a degree under my belt…not really into business and their degree’s so is this a good degree to have anyway?
In art stuff they actually DON’T want to know about any degree you have. You are as good as your last work.
Creative people can do anything but (as you noticed) most other jobs do need a degree of some kind. Even flipping burgers you need to have visited some university.
If you want a chance on making it in business you better get a biz degree or at least a good education on that subject. Without it you will never be able to get around the money issues and you’ll be paying big bucks to someone that can.
