define graphic design? im thinkin of doing online courses?

i am looking into some online colleges and i would love to make cartoons i have the imagination and artistic ability but im really not sure how to go about it all…i was kind of thinking it was in the area of graphic design..if its not then what would it be?

Is there financial aid / grants / support for online courses in graphic design?

I’m 27, and live in northern California (on my own). I’ve completed high school and some college and now want to enroll in an online graphic design course but I’m wondering if there is financial aid for something like that? If so… where would I find more information about it?

is there free online graphic design courses and programs provided from institutes or universities?

I need course programs in graphic design in other words i need to study graphic design but i want that for free because i checked every institute and university and they were very very expensive for me.

I’m looking for a Graphic Design School that doesn’t require fine art courses, any suggestions?

I’ve already taken some Graphic Design classes and some Fine Art classes. I hated the Fine Art classes and I want to avoid them as I continue my education. My goal is a Bachelor’s Degree. I’ll also consider similar fields like “Multimedia Design” or “New Media.” Somewhere warm would be nice too, but not required.
