Isn’t that just a waste of time? Seriously like aren’t gamers going to pick this degree just for the sake to play games? and not to mention how much physics & maths is included in game design?
I also thought gaming companies higher people with Computer Science Degrees or Physics… not computer game development… lol

First, I am wondering, is it a good school? Will I get a good education there, will it be worth my money?

Second, if I get a degree in video game design, would it be worth it, could I find a job? How is the market out there for such things? What I am worried most about is if I finish it I will have even more debt (I already have a BA in history along with all the loans) and then not be able to find a job with it.

If anyone has experience related to this I would love to hear back from you, thanks in advance!

I know that probably all workers involved in the design and programming process have a degree in Computer Science. But I heard that a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering will also allow me to work in that process. Is this true? Or will I have to study Computer Science if I want to be in the industry? 1) What kind of careers are available in the gaming industry. The only one that I really know is that there are artists but what else is there available.

2) What kind of degree is required for each individual career path available in the industry? (i.e. Do I need an Associates, a Bachelors, etc.)

3) What should my area of focus be for each career path? (i.e. Do I need a Bachelors in Art, a Masters in Graphic Design, etc.

Please please please cite all information because I need to know for a fact that it is accurate before I make any decisions on what I should do.
