I am trying to find someone who can build me a new website I have a party service business and also sell gift baskets for different party themes I just need a pretty basic site built but I am wondering if the web desingner will be responsilbe for doing all the gift basket photos and descriptions or do I need to prepair them onto a cd ?

I downloaded a web template for a site I am trying to build and the files I would like to customize are .psd. I re-saved them as .jpg in Gimp and wonder if they need to be converted back to the photoshop file or can they be .jpg?

Should I hire a web designer just to personalize a pre-made web template or have an entire site designed?

I’m starting a brand new business and would like to keep the start up costs low.I have no experience with website design.I love some of the pre made templates that I’ve come across that range around $50-70, however I don’t have the time or experience even to work with these.

Any helpful suggestions as to whether I should hire an affordable web designer(some online “start at” $199.) or try to just go with a pre made template…..???
So I’m not sure how I should proceed.Any suggestions would be very much appreciated…THANKS!!!!

I have a typepad account and also another Site Builder.

I see lots of nice free web templates I would like to use, but have failed at uploading them. I am not familiar with HTML, so a lot of the basics seem confusing to me.

Can someone please explain in plain english how I upload a web template, there are so many files I’m not sure which one to open, upload etc .
