I didnt touch the tool bar at all just some minor content changes…someone please help!

Also, how much should I learn about back-end aspects so that I don’t create a site for a small business that needs to be “torn down” so that the back-end will work properly?
I can create a site now with straight HTML that works great, but is borrrrrring.

Sounds like Photoshop (or something like it) is close to a necessity, but coding by hand is just fine. I simply have had bad experiences will all HTML editors, and love the power of doing code by hand. I love Photoshop, though.

I would so much rather manage my own web site and have complete designing & maintenance control.

I am a pretty good ametuer graphic design person. I want to find something that I can I can totally design my own web pages instead of using the generic designs that have very little design flexibility.

And I want to be able to upload my own logo and place it strategically myself instead of in the one spot that some web building tools allow. I want more flexibility than those building sites allow.

BUT … I am also on a VERY limited budget.
