For those who have stable web-design jobs…?

Where are the best places to look for a job in web design? I’ve tried indeed.com & craigslist & simplyHired & monster, etc… BUT everything I find is freelance… I need something that pays decent that I can have a “permanant job” at… (THIS is the reason I’m going for a BFA in a different field, lol, web design is too hard to find stable work for)

You can try all big product development company like microsoft, hp,cisco ,etc else try freelancing at websites like http://getafreelnacer.com/ , http://eufrelance.com/ , http://scriptlance.biz/ ,etc .

First of all, I believe that nowadays, “stable” jobs do not exist anymore.
In the field of Web Design, it is even worse.
In your area, look for relatively large “web development” companies and apply with them: that’s the only way I know.
Everything is on “temporary basis” or “Contract job”, hence, freelancing.
Advertise yourself as freelancer, in the papers, with flyers, stickers on cars or whatever: it might work, but there is no guarantee.
That’s life, sorry!
