What are some factors that you must consider when choosing a designer or a design firm?
What are some of the questions that I should ask of a potential design firm?
Why is it important to choose the right design firm for a particular client?

You want to choose a good designer based on their past work- ask to see a portfolio in person and look at their website. Check to make sure the work is current, if it’s good (well presented, clean, professional) and if it’s legit, did they get paid, or was it a school project.

If you decide to go with someone, make sure they give you a quote, they understand EVERYTHING you need from them, make sure they give you concept sketches (samples) and make sure you understand their contract before you sign or make any payments. Don’t do anything without a contract!!!

Just go with your gut and make sure you are very clear about what you need. Don’t admit that you don’t know what you’re doing or they may overcharge you. Remember, you can have it fast, good or cheap- but you can’t have all three.

#1 thing to keep in mind when hiring a designer: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
