Is there any GRAPHIC DESIGN programs like Serif DrawPlus X4 which are compatible with MacOSX?

Basically I really like Serif as it is simple to use and I have only ever used that at school however I am looking to start designing logos for people and submit them online so i need a program similar which I can use at home on my mac 
Any Ideas?

The best software for designing logos is Adobe Illustrator – not cheap but industry standard drawing program with all the features you could want or need.
Also, because it’s vector art your logo can be scaled without loss of quality – so the same logo you design for use on a letterhead can be used to create a large sign for instance.
