What is the best book on web design for a beginner?

I have looked on Amazon, but I want to know from you: which is the best book on web design for a beginner like me? One that would help me create a site like Formspeing.me or Blurtit.com. Right now, I know HTML and CSS, and a tiny bit of JavaScript.
