The market is saturated with companies online that promise others to give them a number one search result. There are millions of businesses that want a number one spot on a search engine. Can a Portland web design company do this?

If a Portland web design company promises you a number one search engine rank or any company makes this promise to you then you know they are full of it and you should look to hire someone else. No company should make a promise of a number one rank and if they do then the company should not be trusted in any way.

They may get you in a top spot or near the top but the problem is that the top placed rank will only be short lived until another company beats the number of keywords in the content and inbound links and other endeavors.

Chances are good they will use illegal tactics that will only hurt your business and even cause you to be blacklisted from the search engines. This could be devastating and it isn’t worth it to use a company if they are using illegal tactics.

Many companies online that call themselves companies don’t know the web enough to call themselves a Portland web design company. It is up to you to do your due diligence if you want a good rank that is at least in the first or second page results. No one can promise a number one rank and you should never use a company that claims this. It shouts amateur and that they may be using illegal tactics.
