I want to design a really cool bedroom/ office and I’m not sure how to go about it. I’m thinking I want it to feel open, airy, minimalist. I imagine it to have a lot of glass and acrylic furniture. I want the room to be very sleek, original, cool and different. I want it to be a creative space with a web 2.0 feel (if that makes sense). I want it to have an “Apple store”, “New York” type feel. Any ideas for me? Any pictures you know of with a similar theme? What paint colors do you suggest I use?

I need a 1.0 myspace account mainly because I don’t understand 2.0 and because I think it looks ugly, I have a bit of an OCD when it comes to web design. So if anyone has a 1.0 that they do not use, I would really appreciate it if you would let me have it.

I’m a terrible artist, and I’m equally as bad with computers. However, I’m intrigued by the prospect of graphic design. Should I start off with learning art without computers, and then moving to art with computers? Is there a computer program that is common for graphic designers? Where do I start?

I work for a law firm with a website that was done a couple years ago in plain html (http://thedefenselawyer.com). We’ve been thinking about what we can do to SEO-wise to improve traffic. Last week we had a meeting with an SEO outfit that says our website needs to be recoded for “web 2.0″, and is the main reason our website is under performing. They also said they wouldn’t SEO a site unless it is recoded to “web 2.0″ standards first. Does this company know what they are talking about?
