What are some good graphic design programs I can get to put in my movies?

I usually use the ones from windows movie maker but they make my movies look crap and cheap so some suggestiongs (not sure if its called graphic designo.0) thanks

    imovie hd is good you can do video fx,audio fx,and is good for makeing movies.
