I don’t know how to design Websites using a certain program and so I wonder if you know any free web hosting which also offers templates you can easily work with. Thanks!

I would recommend using Microsoft Office Live Small Business, a free service from Microsoft. It has a free, easy to use online web designer tool with templates which allows you to create a website without the need to know how to do HTML/CSS coding.
While it’s targeted at small businesses, it works very well for personal sites, fan sites, hobbies, clubs, etc. It has 500MB of storage and is currently offering a free domain name (i.e. yourdomain.com) for the first year with Office Live (this is optional, as you can use a free subdomain provided by Office Live). Try it out:

Hi and good question…
You know personally I wouldn’t recommend going with free hosting… But having said that it’s probably a good way to start.
And actually I don’t know exactly what free web hosts there are apart of course from going with WordPress.com, or Blogger.com, which both offer free web hosting. Sure you’ll get some good ideas from the posters here though.
However when it comes to web site templates I do have a great option in mind that you might find invaluable. What they offer is free monthly websites:

What happens is that they give you a 10 page website on a specific niche every month. You’re free to do what you want with it. You can monetize it, or modify it, or upload it to your own host, etc. (It may not be exactly what you want, but it’s certainly one way to ‘learn the ropes’).
Once you have these free monthly templates then you could upload them to a free host – if you wanted. It would be a good way to learn for sure. Or you go with paid hosting and get your own domain name and go that way.
I host all my websites and blogs with these guys: http://hurleypix.com/blue
You can go in there and get your site hosted for about $6-7 per month, and a domain name for about $9 per year so it’s relatively inexpensive. But see which way you want to go.
Anyway, hope that helped, let me know if you want more info.
