This work of art was born on May 13th, 1991 with the one of a kind name of frashaun dwayne Quin (dejae DJ). frashaun was born in Jackson, Mississippi but raised in mccomb, Mississippi where his stage name, Yung mccomb, was created. Unlike others, mccomb is proud of where he is from and believes that its his responsibility to give recognition to his hometown. He grew up around two important things in his life, music and sports. His supportive family consists of talented individuals such as his grandmother who plays the piano, his uncle who sings gospel and his cousins who are involved in the R&B game. Since his music and basketball started kicking off mccomb moved to his present day home, Atlanta, Georgia. He excelled in Honors Chorus and made All State Chorus for two years in a row. He has also played in basketball tournaments with OJ Mayo and Bill Walker who are the top players in the country. Yung mccomb is the true definition of Self-Made because everything he has accomplished until this day he was able to teach himself. His style is not the typical southern music due to his outstanding similes and metaphors in every song. mccomb manages to get his point across in each of his songs and makes the listeners think while they sit back and enjoy the beat.
